Went down to dad’s early today. Well, earlier than normal. Stayed about 4 hours. He was in need of company. Andy roamed around with him in the yard and I cleaned up the house. He called a little bit ago and seemed happy and giggly on the phone which was good. He has sounded depressed the last couple of times I have talked to him. He had a few tomato plants out on the side of the house. Had Lucas pizza for dinner.
Andy was home today. He basically did yard work all day which is good. Dad called several times about the dentist. The dentist had called about his crown that needs done. We are going down tomorrow to bring him food and visit. He has been pretty clear he wants us to come down lol. Had to throw out 15 dollars worth of meet because my behind left the plastic black film under the meat ugh. I still have the new meat cooking. It isn’t tenderizing very well so IT BEST prior to having to go to bed I will NOT be happy if this meat is a bust. I will NOT be buying it for a long time if it is.
Dad called at 6:50pm asking if I was coming down today. He has been doing that a lot lately. I am not sure what to think about it. I said no. I was coming Friday or Saturday but looking more like Saturday. He sounded all confused. It is starting to stress me a little. Went to the store to get him some groceries and make him some food in the crock pot tomorrow. The attorney finally called and said was sending a copy of papers to look over to see if everything is correct or if anything needed changed but still working on dad’s…
Been farting around today in the house with laundry STILL. Called the dentist for dad but they still didn’t have any new info. The neighbor chic was in the creek ALL day surprise surprise. I did a little exercising today but not much. I am trying to start doing that again as I have been very lazy for a long time. Put some fresh hummer food and some bird food out. I still haven’t seen any :(….. The hydrangea is budding slightly but I figured it would be out by now. I am not sure if it will make it this year only time will tell. Made it to the Second book of Samuel. I am behind from being gone but I am not really on a time frame.
Been an uneventful day. Went to Walmart and did a few things around the house nothing amazing. The cat is being a hooker but still cute. I did find a little sand which maker for 4 bucks. I had one years ago ha. Got the thermal thirty-one bag Caroline gave me out of the bag. Put some cabbage in the air fryer but it didn’t turn out the best looked all burnt. Smells like nasty feet up in here. Lane msg he is looking for a house and he is annoying me but that isn’t anything new he he…
Dad has called several times today asking when I am going to be down there and why the dentist hasn’t called so ugh :(…. I knew he was going to be pushing it. I will have to call them tomorrow and see if they have found anything out from the insurance but doubt it will pay much as he is out of network but he wouldn’t listen to me on that.
The In laws are still here. They will be leaving early morning. Went for a walk with Sue earlier. Andy ended up having to go out to work. It has been a decent day no issues just hot. Been eating like a stuffed pig so hoping to get back on track ugh boo hiss. Way behind on reading the Bible so have to figure out where I left off and get back to that.
Andy’s parents came up today. We went to Tom’s house and then over to Luke and Kelsey’s house in Fort Wayne. It felt like it took FOREVER to get there haha. It wasn’t as bad coming back. I felt bad for Zorro :(…. He was fine though. His dad did pretty good but you could tell he was really tired and had no energy.
Went to the store today to get a few things. Andy’s parents are going to be here tomorrow and leave Monday morning. Tomorrow we are going to go to Fort Wayne to see Luke and Kelsey’s house. I am hoping we will not be there too long. Bought a new coffee cup. Made a no bake cheesecake. I normally put a fruit topping on top but his dad can’t have a lot of fruits so just left it off. Watched the History channel with some interesting things on archeologists trying to find proof of stories documented in the Bible.
Flew back to Indy Wednesday afternoon/evening. Had to hall booty to the second connector in Dallas but made it. Had some turbulence on this one but it wasn’t too bad. They told us it was coming so that made me feel slightly better. American didn’t have the tv’s or wifi which sucked. They did have wifi but wanted 15 dollars for it so no thanks. Miss the little one already but had a good time. Will definitely go back.
Picked up sticks today at home. We have a TON. Need to mow again. Been doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom floor for possible turdage lol.
Went to San Francisco today. It was a good time. It was sunny but windy. The roads about did me in though haha. We went to an Aquarium but it was a bit small. It was a good day. … but… the pet sitter called and the DOG decided to get froggy and try and get out. She fell and hurt her ankle so not so sure about that. The toilet was over flown with ass a couple times sooooo… On to the airport tomorrow. I will be sad to leave. I was hoping to not like it here but it is really pretty awesome. I will be sad to leave Lane and bub.
Went to the mountains to drive around again which was pretty. Bub flew his kite at a park. He has been kind of a turd but he was also tired. Went to the base and was able to get on a plane that Lane has worked on which was really cool. Julian wasn’t as impressed haha… surprise.
Today was a good day. We hung out at the house for Easter. Scarlett made some ham, green bean casserole, stuffing so on so forth. Played with the child all day. We went to the park and drove around in a mountain area which was fun. I wanted to get a pic with all of us before we left but no one was game as the sun was blazing so will try before we leave. Face Timed dad -he talked to Lane for quite a while.
Friday was busy cleaning and packing crap. We didn’t get to bed until 1-2am and then didn’t even sleep. Did get a cute pic of this bird :)
Saturday- Flew over to see Lane and Bub- LONG day ha. 4 1/2 hours first flight, 1/12 on second flight and LAX was a nasty pit with tons of rude people. Lane picked us up with bub. Their house is really cute. We went to eat at some hole in the wall fish place but it was good because we were starving haha. Julian was tired and getting a little cranky but it is really good to see the little guy. The hotel is not bad it is a run of the mill hotel. We had to go get passes to get in and out of the base.
Ran around most of the day getting odds and ends. Counting down the hours before the dreaded FLYING takes place ugh. I found a comparable price for Friday but that would mean two more days of hotel fees, the pet sitter, and Andy said he needed to be back by Friday because his truck will be in shop yada yada yada. So, just hoping everything goes well and we leave saying we wish we could have stayed longer and not the latter lol. Time will tell. I wish all my paperwork would have been done prior to departure I would feel a lot better. Scored at Walmart today at the clearance section. Found a lot of things for a dollar or under which rarely happens.
