Went down to take dad to his follow up Doc. Apt. They are going to have him start taking his old blood pressure pill again since his blood pressure has been staying on the higher side. He has to take it daily so that we can report back so shall see how that goes. They are supposed to put a referral in for a neurosurgeon since that wasn’t done.
Ran to Target to take the Rhinestone shoes for the wedding back. There were three rhinestones missing in the front. They didn’t have my size to exchange so went ahead and returned it. I will just have to order it online or find another shoe. Went into Shoe Carnival and got Andy some new shoes and socks at TJ Max.
Went down to dad’s to check on him and bring him some groceries so on so forth. He was doing pretty good. We helped change his battery on his heart monitor/ charge it. His remote started working prior to us getting there so didn’t have to do anything with that. Went over his meds. Two he was on point with but the other two he was off on a few so …. I did tell him but he acted like that is impossible so just tried to make it as easy as possible for him to go forward. He refused the pill container so had to improvise.
Andy was home today. He worked on the car a little. Dad finally answered me. He slept in I guess. He is having issues with his remote so we will have to look at it tomorrow. Andy thinks he might have cut a cable outside who knows. Went to the store to get him a few things since he can’t drive. I have to bring him to the doc Monday. Found a big ol (to me anyway) spider again in the storage area. Painted the flowers on my non symmetrical “dish” like” thingie…
Went to Plainfield and ran into Target. I found some shoes for the wedding. No dress but these should work with most dresses (hopefully). If not, I will just return them. Cleaned out the freezer. Andy is on call and still out. Need to figure out what I can make for dad when go down. Stomach is feeling a little better now.
Stayed home today to start cleaning the house up. It has been a mess. Got a good amount done but still more to do. Called dad several times. He said Richard brought him over some lunch and meatloaf which was nice of him. I talked to him this evening and Andy was sitting in here. Dad was like- Is Andy home? I was like ya and Andy was like I am here. Dad said “Don’t be hiding from me Andy”… hahahahaha…
This morning was fun. I got a call from a case worker at the hospital. She had called dad to go over his medications and ask him to take them with her on the phone. He got uncooperative (surprise) and confused. She called me to say she was concerned about that and wanted to go over his meds with me and possibly getting him a medication container. Literally all the meds except for one can be taken all at once so it is not that complicated but he has been upset about the hospital. So, had to call him back and he was yelling in the phone and the poor guy can barely talk. THEN, get a call from the Primary doc that the case worker had called them and wanted him to have an apt with them to go over things within 5 days. So, I will have to take him on the 31st. I am going to have to sit with him and explain that he needs to stay calm when talking to these people or they will be coming to his house to evaluate which he does not want….
Went to the Dollar tree and the store today to catch up. The effing workers on Heartland Blvd were dicks today directing traffic. The dog was out all day so he was happy about that. Attempted to make chocolate spoons and Andy had a few and said he didn’t think they were worth sending so must have effed them up.
What is quite hilarious about this is that NEITHER one of them called. They both have a screen shot of his number and not a damn one called… pathetic excuses. I can expect it from the one but the other is disappointing. Never saw hooker show up or call him either but I didn’t expect that nor did he probably need that stress.
Got up early to get down to tend to the cats and get to the hospital. He was finally discharged but the process took forever. He was able to get his heart monitor placed. The batteries have to be switched every 7 days so we will make sure to get down to do so. He has new medication. We got all that done and got him some McDonalds on the way home. He wont be getting that for a while going forward. We got mom’s walker out and explained the importance of being VERY careful. I did not want to leave him but Richard said he would periodically check on him. He came by before we left. I told him if he doesn’t answer his phone I am calling someone after him. So, time will tell if he will be ok or not. He told me if he ever has more and is paralyzed to just sh**t him :(…… I hope if that ever happens it just takes him home to be with mom I never want to see him like that. Brady and Kota texted me asking about dad which was a bit hilarious to me. Next time I get “oh I didn’t know” like I am an admin- I will say I only inform people who have communicated with him within the past year.
Got up early and went down to dad’s to tend to the animals and went back over to the hospital. Dad had a good day but he was a bit emotional. His friend Phil and his wife came by and visited for a while. We left around 5:30pm. I am hoping he can come home tomorrow. I can’t imagine what OTHER test they haven’t done or couldn’t have done over these last two days.
Went down to visit dad. Thought it was going to be a normal visit but after one look at him I knew that was not going to be the case. He could barely speak. It was all slurs and he just did not look right. He said the Jehovah witnesses were down there and he could not read the Bible he just mumbled it. I still will not understand HOW one of them after coming there MULTIPLE times a weekend couldn’t see he was clearly ill. A MORON could not have missed that but all I will say. So much for so called Godly people… Ya, convert over…. “oh you are messed up”- we are 86 ….see ya!!!!! ERRRRRRRR… He had a mild stroke on the left side and they said he has had a mild one on the right which is old. They didn’t know how old it was. I will know more tomorrow once I can talk to the neurologist and he has looked over all the tests :(
Been farting around today. Andy was busy putting the front brakes on, the sensor, and washing the cars lol. Made a few things to bring down to dad tomorrow. Took some night time medicine so that I wont be up past 2am looking at my phone eek.
Went to get my hair done. They fixed the road in front so I didn’t have any problems getting in and out which was a miracle. She fixed it curly and it sucked but the color was fine. Went in to Michaels, Target, and JoAnne’s. I need to get a few paint colors at Walmart for the nose and beard. I also wanted lighter colors for the blue and pink so might try and go over that. Bought some of Michael’s air dry clay. I am really kind of over air dry clay but wanted to see if there is a big difference between that and the Walmart one. I might try another tea light tree.
Messing around with the air dry clay. Went to the bank to get a notary done. UPS was going to charge me 10 dollars but Chase didn’t charge me since I am a member. Dad called talking a bunch. He said he walked out to the woods and had a good day.
Been messing with the air dry clay today. Freezing on and off in the house errr. Dad went to the doctor. I have been trying to access his cvs account but every phone number I enter it says they need more info so will probably have to call. Received my address stamp. It is decent but not sure love it. For the price it is fine. Andy is still stuck on a job - 10pm. Poor dude.
Put some food in the crockpot for Andy. Tortellini soup of some sort. Added some sausage. Dad had a dentist apt. He has two bad teeth they are watching in the back. He has a doctor apt tomorrow. Andy bumping on the cat. It was nippy today. I ended up turning the furnace on for a bit.
Went up to Plainfield and then Greenwood. Decided to go ahead and bring the dress back. Looked around a bit and saw basically nothing. Everything saw on the website I saw in there and wasn’t feeling. I did see one that was decent but it was black with white dots. Went into the Christmas store. It was decent but didn’t buy anything.
Finally got to talk to bub tonight but had to msg to make a request.
Went down to see dad. He was in a good mood from this mornings fiasco of no power. He had a thing of wood that Richard gave him on the porch. I made sure to msg and thank him. Before we were about to leave of course he was thinking of ways to keep us around by wanting andy to go check something out at Richard’s but andy is on call so told him next time.

Not a very eventful day. The vet didn’t call so assuming they didn’t get the results back yet. The dress came hate it so going back. Dad called several times so on so forth. Made some more of the pumpkin donut holes for the weekend. They taste better then they look. Andy was out all effing day for work poor dude. He only wanted to go in for a few hours lol
Took Stormie to Horse and Hound today for an exam and urinalysis. They did an ultrasound and showed me her bladder. It is supposed to show up as completely dark but there was a shadow inside they have to investigate. She said it is either crystals or bacteria so on so forth. They took some blood.
Andy’s mom’s bday today. I emailed her a gift card for their favorite place to eat. I have had ZERO energy for the past couple months. Wondering if I need to get labs done hard to say. Sat down with Zorro a few times today. It was nice out. He was talking to Andy from the window this morning ha.
Talked to dad. He was out most of the day with his neighbor Richard. I guess he has a couple older ladies he is helping from his church. They have outlived their family. He has one or both living with him now and they are taking care of them which is something you don’t hear of anymore.. super nice.
