Andy was off today. It was a poop day with rain. We had to go to Target to Avon to get dad another phone. Andy still wants to have him try my IPhone but I don’t think that is a good idea so shall see. I ended up going into Home Good and a few other places. I didn’t find much but did find some eye shadow… looked decent. Lane is in LA visiting Scarlett’s sister. Kelsey requested a photo with Andy and Luke. I am assuming she is going to do a slide show of some sort for her wedding but who knows.
Andy was home today. He has been playing his game most of the day but that is fine. Dad called giving me some “stories” about his “stupid phone”… later to find out he dropped it in the toilet. We are going to try my old IPhone and see if he can use that. I am also going to buy another flip from Target just in case that doesn’t go well (which I don’t think it will). Drew left to go back to his house. He didn’t have any issues (so far) with all the airline crap that has been going on thankfully.
Didn’t do much today. I did go to Avon to run into Michaels and pick up something for Andy but came right back. Trying to lay low with my back. The vet called and Bella’s ashes are back. Dad said he ended up going to the Chinese buffet and then got full and didn’t end up going. I am sure he will run over there tomorrow. He said he kind of got sad going in there thinking about how mom liked to go there :(
Sciatica hurting like a mother today. I think it is that anyway. Titty was being all cute today. Chair out back is all broke dck. The box finally got to Ca after it’s round to Hawaii and Guam (or wherever it was prior)…Dad got some more “naughty” stuff “as he called it in the mail ha..
Didn’t do anything productive today. I did search some you tube videos on sciatica exercises but that was about it. Dad went to get his B-12 only to find that he had already picked it up last week. He had put it in the cabinet and didn’t see it. I did go to Walmart to see if anything on clearance was worth buying. I got a few things but nothing major. I was hoping to find a popcorn tin but there were none to be found.
Well woke up feeling like a bit of poop with my sinus’s but nothing major. Richard came over to invite dad over but he was “without” pants and declined lol. He appreciated the offer but ….. Anyhoo…..
Drew came over and played XBox with Andy. Andy is still playing it now ha. He went in to work for a while.

Made my biscuits and gravy and Andy made his pepperoni bread. (I do not really like the pepperoni bread) but that is his gig. I think he puts too much garlic salt or something in it who knows. Luke and Kelsey came by for a while. Drew did not. I think he is coming by tomorrow. I really felt sad I could not get down to dad’s house. Andy didn’t think the roads would be good enough for us to go down. I did talk to him though.
Been home all day. Basically cooking stupid crap to get it done. Made some cheesy corn dip which was tasty. French toast casserole was pretty tasty as well. I had some French bread to get rid of… Andy was out until 8:30am. He ended up going back out this evening. Poor Zorro has had to go in and out in very short spurts. Been eating way too much so feel kind of like crap ha.
Been hanging around the house today. Did venture out a bit this morning. Since stuck around just cooking a few things to have them done. Made some more krispies, cookies, and biscuits. Called dad to tell him to leave the cats in tonight. He kept telling me how the garage is “insulated”.. I was like regardless probably best to let them stay in tonight.
Went to Kroger and Meijer to get a couple gift cards and I do NOT plan on going to another store it was nuts. I “attempted” to add some hearts to my fudge. I will never do that again. I will either have hearts or nothing that was a pain in butt. They taste good though :)
Scarlett FT with bub while they were decorating the ugly sweater cookies I sent from Etsy. She said they were going to on Christmas Eve but he was having a bad day so did them today. She said they were soft and good :).
Went to Avon today to hit up Michaels and Hobby Lobby. I found the green neon gel Lori was telling me about. I didn’t expect to find the hearts - and didn’t. I grabbed some wafers and 3 more cookie tins. I went into Ross and found a pizza pan for dad. I needed a muffin tin and another 8 inch pan so grabbed that. Found the coarse salt at Dollar tree (Lori).
People are freaking lazy nasty in the parking lot errrr….
Rough day for dad. He called upset they wouldn’t get bella in. I called and asked to put her on a wait list. They called at 1pm and said they had a cancellation for 1:30. I called him said you have 30 minutes so get her ready. He was like “should I just wait until the morning?”…. I was sitting there like “really?”.. I didn’t say that. I just said no you need to get going and get her over there. I called to take care of everything so all he would have to do is go in and not have to worry about anything else. He called bawling. He said it went well though there wasn’t anything traumatic that happened which is always preferable.
I decided to look up a few recipes after having Lori’s amazing fudge and brown butter krispies. I made some and they turned out really good. I didn’t make anything grinch as I don’t have any food coloring or the hearts but they still turned out good. Haven’t tried the fudge yet it is still setting. I don’t think it is going to get as thick as it should but oh well.
Andy couldn’t get his truck started today. He did get to go to Lori’s and get some goodies ahhhhh… He really liked his stuff :)…. The treats were super yummy.
Talked to Lane and he said he has a doc apt to have a scan of his head. He said the dentist saw something that needed to be looked into. It worries me but I am praying it will be nothing.
Dad will have to put Bella down hopefully this week. I know that will be hard on him.
Down at dads today. He has been pretty emotional lately and lonely. Trying to stay as long as can. We have been watching the colts game. He really seems to like displaying his cards. I have noticed on his calendar each day he marks as TD.
Been running around to stores most of day for whatever reason. I couldn’t find everything I needed at the first one and went on to the 3rd lol. Now, I have a big mess in the kitchen and the husband is laying in the bed because he has been stating he is tired and needs rest (which is true). Talked to dad earlier and it is sad he basically sounds like he wants to cry by the end of the conversation. I never thought I would hear my dad like this. The poor dog needs to be put down but he can’t seem to do it so she lays there whining all night. I am going to have to address it further Monday if the poor dog lasts that long. Andy made his some panini’s so hopefully they will get eaten.
Andy was off today. Basically have been around the house all day except for going to the post office to drop a box off for lane and bub. Bought a few things on Amazon. Still trying to figure out what to make for Christmas or to bring down to dads. Lori found a thing of my cookies so that makes me happy 😃 Saw these cute neighbor tags to put on candy. I only like two neighbor ;)
Cleaned around the house today a bit. I need to do more tomorrow. Titty has been needy today. Dad called after his vet apt and was upset. Bella has kidney disease. I wish he would have put her down today but he didn’t. I called to get the run down from the vet they said she was end stage and they gave him just a supplement to maybe buy him some more time. They said if she just lays around lethargic, vomits, and wont eat that it would be time. I told him today they aren’t open on the weekend so I really think he needs to make her an apt. Found a hole in the tile in the bathroom. Have no idea how that happened.
Went to Avon “again” to get hair done. That was kind of an ordeal but will not get into it lol. Ended up going into Hobby Lobby and buying things probably didn’t need eek. Lane FaceTimed this evening so that was a nice surprise. The cat keeps running around trying to get the plug for the wall. Literally the elf legs are the cutest. Sending a card to that little girl with brain cancer :(
Farting around today doing little things here and there. Called the vet for dad to get Bella on a waiting list. Emailed the heart monitor people and they told me that the doctor’s office would have to call if they didn’t get the results. I spoke with the doctors office and they said they were really disappointed in this as that never happens and would call tomorrow. Doesn’t shock me. Made another candle-filled it a little too much. Kelsey posted some new pics. This might be pics number 150 lol… hehe
Went to Plainfield/Avon today to do some running. I went into Michaels and Target so on so forth. Oh, did go into Ross and had some chicks cut me in line errr… I saw Santa on his motorcycle ha! I was going to try and get a selfie with him but he already had people coming up to him left and right so decided to leave the poor guy alone. I found a timer for the outside lights on sale. Drew and Luke like that Target popcorn so get that about every year. Found the child some pop rocks and a paint on canvas Santa. It says 6 and up so hoping he isn’t too big for it. The Dollar tree had some cute suckers with faces on the front. Got a wild hair to make a breakfast pizza after watching a tik tok. Basically like a biscuit and gravy pizza. A packet of white gravy, any sausage, pizza crust, and cheese. It was pretty good-better than it looked.
Amazon day yet again. Andy worked today and didn’t get home until late. The cat has been a hooker but still cute. Made dad some yummy meatloaf. Andy said it was very good- brown sugar meatloaf recipe off pinterest. Then decided to make him some cheesy potato soup since he has told me in the past he liked potato soup. He likes those strawberry donuts from the store so grabbed some of those. Saw a tik tok on l glutamine. I might do some more research on it. This chick claims it helps reduce addiction cravings.
Took Zorro to the vet. He was all drugged up. He did really good. I guess they have an allergy shot they can give but when they told me the cost I was like hell no- close to 200 and they have to get it every 4 or more weeks. I will just get him some more expensive apoquel. He has been in the house for a couple hours now just watching tv with Andy. The cat is scared of him and runs and hides. We just put her in the room and shut the door for now.
Found some cute Harry Potter cards at Walgreens along with a few ornaments to send them. The ornaments are two sided. I put dad and mom on one for Lane and the other with bub and a pic of all 3 of them.
Saw a nasty dead mouse out on the sidewalk ugh. I am sure the outside cat probably got to it. Also saw a ton of birds swarming which was kind of cool by Meijer.
Been sitting around looking on the ipad most of the day. Did get out a bit to Menards and Dollar Tree. My Dollar Tree has a whole lot of NOTHING usually. I did pick up a few plastic ornaments. I did add a large scarf to the crafty craft. It is way too big but looks cute. I did get a wild hair to make some rollo Christmas candy to send to CA. I had some leftover white candy coating so threw it on some Oreos.
