Sinus issues / headache today. Sat out with the dog several times once the sun came out. Andy is working 8-5pm this week. Dad said he went to the bank and they said that we would have to come in and “sign papers” to be able to access the online portal. We literally did this when it was “initially” set up so I am unclear why that is necessary again but will do it.
Andy was on call and was out until 5am. It was poopy out today. The winds were so bad my chair ended up across the deck - but they are not heavy. Andy sent me a few picks of hail. Tried a new crock pot recipe but that was a bust/dud. Dad called and he said that the mommy cat ate one of the toys he had gotten them. I remember seeing it on the floor and I almost grabbed it and said something when I was down there but got side tracked :(. I hope she can pass it ok and not have an issue.
Doing the normal Sunday ground hog day things today. Went to the store blah blah ….Filled the bird feeder so on so forth. Titty has been all over Andy. She is something else. She literally will meow until he picks her up.
Went down to dad’s house today. He was in good spirits. He was happy to see us. He did a good job on the deck and swing. The kitties were being cute. I just need him to get their rabies shots ugh. He said Steve wants him to come up to his house soon and then they can drive over to their old stomping grounds- and hopefully not get shot. We tried a new place for dinner / delivery. I had a 14 dollar off coupon on Doordash or it would not have went down- Prodigy burger. It was pretty tasty.
Andy went in for Over time today. I went to the store here and there. Found some new treats for Zorro. They look like fig newtons. The sky was pretty. The moon was cool tonight but my phone doesn’t take very good pics of it unfortunately. Talked to dad for a bit. He was excited we are coming down tomorrow. I was like I will test myself before coming down. He was like I don’t even care if I get sick anymore. I was thinking well I do care so…..
Went to Walmart to get a few treats for the dog. Found a topper on clearance to try. He has been doing pretty good. He has been eating all his food so I am happy about that. The cat needs groomed she has been leaving a few “prizes” for me around the house. The child called last night around 11:45pm (our time)… it was close to his bed time there. He was like “Gigi, Gabe, this person, that person… didn’t answer so”… I was like wow thanks haha- kids.
HOUSE again but I did attempt to go into Meijer. I just never got out of the car. The wind was crazy and I was looking down at my phone and heard a loud slam. I looked up and a cart had hurled into a car and there was a large dent in it. That was enough for me. I drove my happy behind back home. Someone was pretty upset when they got back out to their car :( I found a red scratch mark on our Yaris this morning. It had to have happened when I was driving it over the weekend but just now noticed it… effers.
Stayed around the house again today. Took a covid test it was negative. I think I should be good but still a few days to go. Andy’s mom sent Andy a pic of his brother. Andy has been watching EarthCam for hours now - Mardi Gras. Zorro is still doing good. He has been eating and his huff is way better.. almost gone.
Animal day- spent most of day in and out of the house with Zorro. He is doing better. He hasn’t vomited. He has been eating better so that is good. Titty is being a hooker but that is normal.
Julian has covid :(…. Super sad about that. He really didn’t have a chance with both of them though. I am praying he gets through it with few symptoms.
I have had a headache today but my sinus’s have been going nuts so not abnormal. I am going to take a Covid test tomorrow or Wednesday. I read you should test regardless of having symptoms 5 full days or day 6 after exposure.
Sat out with Zorro today. He is loving the weather. I am trying to watch him with vomiting. He threw up last night around 10pm or so :(…. Put my blue bird feeder out. Tried to FaceTime the child but he hasn’t answered.
Been hanging around the house today. We didn’t go down to dad’s house on the side of caution. He did tell me he liked a frozen meal I had put in his freezer which was Swiss steak with mac n cheese. I will be on he look out for more of those for him. We went to Menards for a few minutes to get a return for the kitchen as it is gross, a toilet seat, and a container big enough for Zorro’s food. I am going to clean out the other one and see if it is big enough for my bird seed. They did say they are having their 11% tomorrow. We went to take the larger things back so that I can get it tomorrow and the chick at the desk said I could go in tomorrow and ask for an adjustment rebate form.
Took Zorro to the vet. He lost close to 5 pounds but she wasn’t concerned yet because he hasn’t been eating very much. He did “not” want to take his meds today. I did get some of it down him. I gave him half the amount but it didn’t seem to do the job lol. She assessed it is allergies from watching the video. She listened to his heart and stomach area. His lungs are good and she didn’t hear any murmur for his heart. She said their hearts can enlarge as they age. An x-ray would have to be done to check for that. She said to start him back on the apoquel but twice a day for two weeks and then one a day. It was a 200 dollar visit as the apoquel for only 30 pills was over a 100 dollars which is nuts. He has to come back in two weeks to see how he is doing. If his cough remains she wants to get an X-ray to check on his heart. Andy said she is the doctor that first started at the clinic.
Bub has been here today and will be here tonight. I am taking them to airport tomorrow. I will miss the little dude. He has had a little attitude today but figured that was coming lol. Andy stayed home today.
Been hanging out with bub again ahhhh. He came over around 3:30pm. We went out and played on the hill again. He insisted on pulling me down the hill on the sled haha. I tried to explain that is only for snow but…… Lane is sick with Covid :(…. Hoping Scarlett and bub don’t get it. Lane got a hotel by the airport. We brought the car over for her to use. She is supposed to come over tomorrow for a while. Took him to Dairy Queen :)

Scored the Mexiwraps for a 1.47 at Walmart. They were in the frozen section in a weird place so scanned it on my phone and it came up on clearance.
