Went down to dads today instead of tomorrow. It started getting froggy so we decided to head home. He was doing pretty good. He doesn’t listen worth crap but still doing good lol. Weather is supposed to get potentially bad later in the evening but shall see.
Went my happy azz up to Greenwood to Target to look for my cookies and the effers had the bakery completely gone. They are remodeling or what have you. Sooo with that being said I am going to try and make some myself. I am over looking for them. I did get some Crumbl. I haven’t bought those in forever. I wasn’t going to but I had a 10 dollar credit to use. I missed their Raspberry cheesecake one last week errrr… I found bottles and old items of bubs in the cabinet so that was sad :(
Had kind of a poopy day today. Andy sent me a pic while he was at work of two ducks doing the nasty so that was funny. He thought it was absolutely hilarious. Stormie was being a clingy biach but that was ok. Finally got an apt for our taxes but that isn’t until next Friday.
Went to get a Mammogram today. It took in all about 5 minutes. There was a cool yet slightly creepy statue in the garden area. The cat is a killer. The little sh*t was toying with a fly on the floor. She literally had the thing in her mouth, was licking it, and batting her paws at it. I had to kill the freaking thing to put it out of its misery. That is one thing I don’t like about cats. They toy and torture their prey. Went out to try and see the planet alignment. We were trying to find our binoculars but can’t find them :(
Went to take food back at Pet supplies. Had to make several phone calls so on so forth. Looks like they are finally building a house on the empty lot in front of us. This should be interesting with the fact the neighbors are still parking their ten cars in front of it. Bought a dress off Mercari. I feel like it will be ok for the wedding but we shall see.
Sunday poopiness - Made the vanilla slice. It was super good. I did drizzle some chocolate on the top. I didn’t cook the puff pastry enough but it was still good but messy. The dog finally ate his food today. He is acting fine. We decided to go out of the norm and get Red Robin for dinner since dinner yesterday sucked .. it was tasty but Andy’s burger looked like a kids size. Went to Walmart and saw Kyle (Angie’s old neighbor that used to help her in the garage). He has a new baby. We both saw each other and acted like we didn’t lol.
Well today has been kind of sh**… Dinner was garbage. I was probably poisoned at Dairy Queen. Andy is still talking about how gross dinner was.. I will never eat Iguana’s again… Screw DQ as well. Calling this a day. Saw some chocolate twizzlers at Ollies. I did not get them. I am not a big twizzlers fan but Andy likes them. Trying out a new dog food. It will probably end up going back but looked promising.
OK UPDATE the dog food will be returned… just read some reviews and people said it made their dog gassy so I will probably be picking up DOG SH** all over so back to the store it will be going…
Andrew’s birthday is today. We went down early to dad’s house to take him to the doctor in Bloomington. I am glad that we did because he would have been all kinds of confused with the whole process. We found a lovely writing on the wall in the office …
Zorro has a grooming between 4pm-6pm. He got here at 6:30pm.
Andy literally says “here little doggie” to the cat. She literally will follow him around while he says that. I found a couple recipes I might try out one of these days. It has been raining off and on today. It is really coming down now. We have to go down in the morning to take dad to the doctor in Bloomington-that should be fun. We have to be back by 4pm as he has a grooming apt with a time frame of 4-6pm. They usually save him for last but with my luck never know. I got Andy some of his M&M’s and a new wallet.
Saw some critters out back today. They love playing on the dead trees. Saw a cute idea for Easter. Just a cute little brown bag. Andy said he didn’t like it and was too plain. Rescheduled dad’s doc apt in Bloomington for Friday so that we can take him. He sounded relieved about that. I will have to bring it home to him that we will not be back down the next day so he isn’t calling upset asking why I am not down there at 8pm.
Had a horrid sinus headache most of the day. I didn’t much accomplished on top of that. I did go through some tax paperwork but other than that … The daily pic with Andy and his side kick.
Bub called me today. I asked him why he wasn’t in school. He said he had the flu. He said he has a loose tooth on the front bottom of his mouth. Talked for a while and then he hopped down off the bed and just hung up without saying goodbye. Saw a red bellied woodpecker this morning.. or what looked like one anyway. Talked to dad and he was in better spirits thankfully. He told me he was out of some of his meds. I called and got that fixed. He ended up having some of it in the cabinet that he always forgets about.
Sunday Fun day…. Lori came over and taught me how to make a cute little bunny. Super cute!…. Thanks Lori :)…..
Dad called and ruined the fun a bit by asking why I didn’t come down when “I said I was coming down”… Which mind you didn’t happen. I am thinking he got things confused but it frustrated me a bit. I try to get down as much as I can but he really makes me feel pressured.
Well it was cold AF today. I wanted to go down to dad’s house but the husband was being a turd so we stayed home. I did clean more tile grout and that sucked. I am about over that. It can just stay nasty. Andy did get the new toilet seat on in the bathroom finally. We went to Culver’s for dinner. It was pretty good. I had two coupons for ice cream. We both were going to wear our lavender blanket / robe thingies (whatever you call them) but I was like no I am not wearing it in public. Well, we get there and this lady is full fledge wearing one haha! I wish we would have I would have said hey can we get a pic together lol.
Andy had a dentist apt this morning. I ended up running over to Target while he was in there. They didn’t have any of my cookies out. The bakery chick was a hooker. We ran to Pet supplies plus to get Stormie some food. We then ventured in Sam’s club since we never go there. We had several things in the cart until I took a gander at our account. We ended up bringing home two things haha! We might not be going down to dad’s house tomorrow. I will not like that but Andy said he might go into work because he didn’t today or he might just stay home… so shall see.
Scarlett sent over a copy of his 2nd Trimester progress report. He is doing so good. He is a smart little dude. I have been dabbling with my nasty grout on my floor tile and it is not going so hot. I looked it up and it said to use a baking soda paste but that crap gets a residue that is impossible to get off. I still have a lot more to do and it sucks. Put a DT flower garland up instead of my eggs. The eggs I might toss and do over another year. I don’t love the colors on it. I prefer more pastel looking eggs for whatever reason.

Scored a blanket/sweater type thingie at Meijer on clearance for $11. They only had lavender but it will work fine. Grabbed Andy some summer sausage as he threw out the one from Walmart yesterday. Grabbed a condolence card for my dad. His friend Phil’s mom passed away from what he mentioned.
Found me some figgy pops. I like them but everyone else thinks they are nasty… so more for me. Zorro was half asleep with his head out of the railings. Went to Dollar tree and they did “Not” have any white pedestals or any pedestals for that matter- surprise surprise.
Snowed lightly throughout the day. Got Andy some lower carb items from the store. He insisted on cleaning the cucumbers ;)…… Talked to dad. He went to the shoot today. He said he goes through spurts where he gets down but then gets out of it. I told him that is very normal. .. I am surprised he even talks about it but glad he does.
Normal Sunday fun- Laundry, cat pee which I am still smelling on me mind you, and dog poop… yay. Made some basic pretzel sandwiches for dinner. Went to get a diet lime aid at Sonic and ended up bringing two incorrect drinks home- oh well. Found some yummy starburst jelly beans. I don’t love jelly beans but they are pretty good. Watching another ID on the Idaho college murders :(
Went down to dad’s today. We got down there a little later than I had wanted to but stayed late. Dennis and Duane Gaddis came over to see him. It was so sweet seeing two old friends hugging. Dad picked a yellow flower for me- super cute. Andy almost teared up but he is a big pssy… HAAA.. (teasing). We got Arby’s for dinner on the way back and mine sucked. I wont be getting that for a long time again. It left little to be desired.
Had a hair apt today at noon. It was in Plainfield so good location. It went fine. Andy didn’t go into work. Came home and tried to look into dad’s truck insurance. We need to get his other truck replaced with the other truck he is driving. He had an apt for his taxes and I couldn’t understand what he was saying went down with that. I will have to look the papers over when I get down there. The cat has been all over Andy lately. She is just loving all over him. I have been digging on the cherry turnovers. I did find some apple so grabbed those…
Stormie has been a needy biach lately ha. She was all up on me today. I have been looking up stupid shiat today nothing more. Saw some cute little Easter stuff at Meijer. Picked up a pizza pan on clearance. I already scratched it up. We finally got into dads account to try and check on some things for him and if we didn’t see a McDonald’s purchase almost daily haha. The guy likes his McDonald’s. I need to get him another card. Bought a pair of pants at Meijer but got home tried them on and took them right back -

Made some hummer food today. I need to get my feeder out. Andy needs to do something about his “feathers”… haha. Found some of my old fave Maxwell House Vanilla. I remember liking it in the past anyway… The cat is in love with Andy so oh boy…
Went out and walked a little over two miles today. Came back and walked a little more on the treadmill as it was a bit too windy. Saw a cool deck being built on one of the new houses at the end of the neighborhood. The sky was really cool this evening. Talked to dad and he was doing good. His cough is doing better he said so that is good.
Had a Dentist / cleaning apt at 11am. Everything was fine, made an apt for Andy hehe. Went to Target after and found my lovely cookies - score! It was so nice I decided to walk around the neighborhood. I was lucky not to get kidnapped or run over. Called Dad’s dentist he has an apt in April. He went to get his taxes done today.
Ground hog day Sunday. Went to a couple stores, laundry, animal poop… I grabbed some of Kroger’s lemon cheesecake ice cream- super yum. Watching some ID psychopath episode.
Dad called and he sounded raspy. Said he might need to make a doc apt but proceeded to tell me he “doesn’t have a doc”… which I have told him many times he does. Andy feels like it all started when he got his furnace going. He thinks there could be anything in his “amazing filter he insists he had for mom for air cleaning’… Probably has mold or who knows what. I don’t know if it is that or he could have who knows what. I asked him several times about finding his thermometer and acted annoyed and said he would know if he had a fever. He said he would go to cvs and ask what he can take over the counter. I will see how he is tomorrow and go from there.
Came down to dads a little early today to get to the bank. A large tree limb came down from the wind storm the other day. He didn’t even know it had happened. Shingles had come off so on so forth. He is starting to seem a little more confused which worries me a little. He definitely wasn’t on his A game today.
Took Zorro in to the Vet early today as they had a cancellation. It was pleasurable. I feel like my ears are still ringing form his yelps in the car lol. He has to take another round - 1 a day. She said to keep watch for any changes in drinking water. He will probably be on this for a prolonged period which sucks but it is what it is. They do have a Zoetis rewards where I can get points for purchases but whatever. The cost is $105 at the vet and it is $76 (with auto ship) at chew so ticks me off.
We have some flooding in the back creek area and down the street. Dad said the river doesn’t flood unless it had rained several days but SHALL SEE. We have to get down there earlier tomorrow because we have to get to the bank prior to close (noon).
Made some bomb breakfast enchiladas from a Tik tok recipe for him / Andy.
Sat out with Zorro most of day. The cat had her time as well lol. Called dad he said he was doing ok. He mentioned he felt like he had something in his throat most of the night but was feeling better. Really a very uneventful day.. He has a vet apt for tomorrow at 4pm. That will be another couple hundred bucks but it is what it is.
Andy received some knives from work. They seem pretty nice. Titty wanted to play on the treadmill for a bit. She is a turd.
Dad called this evening and he had a cough. He said he had been coughing a bit today. I asked him to find his thermometer to keep that around if needed. He said he felt fine except for the cough. I am hoping he didn’t catch something at the Shoot. He said Richard wants him to help cut wood tomorrow but I told him if he isn’t feeling better not to.
