Andy is working late tonight. Dad has called several times talking about the new birds he has been seeing and asking what their names were again :)… He said he has to watch Carmaleeta’s dog and cat here in a few days when they go out of town. I have seen the male and female hummers today so excited about that. I did see a few birds fly around my water so they are noticing it at least. I found some blueberry wine on clearance. I am not a big wine drinker but figured I would try it.
Andy went in to work for about 4 hours so decided to head down to dad’s house when he got home. Saw the doe he puts corn out for. He didn’t have any corn out there though. His new door looks nice. It looks a lot better. Cleaned up around the house and moved his clothes from the laundry area/closet next to the bathroom to his actual bedroom closet for him. I grabbed some of the stuff mom had in there on the hangers.
Andy went into work today for OT. Got me a orange bell pepper plant. I really don’t like that we have raccoons around so not sure if it will make it… I might go to the DT and see if they have those mesh tent looking things I saw on Tik tok to put over the top. My DT probably wont have it. When he got home we went to Tractor Supply to get some potting soil because we were across the street at Walgreens getting cokes. We bought a 3 tiered pedestal fountain off of Amazon. It was 50 percent off- got it for $35 dollars which was cheaper than making it with what I needed. I need to get some fountain formula cleaner and it says every 6-12 months it needs coated with UV protection finish like Americana Acrylic Sealer finish.
There was a barn fire out in the distance from looking at FB. I saw the smoke but didn’t know if it was a house fire or what.
Dad called and asked when we would be coming back down. I knew he would be doing that. He just doesn’t understand that we can’t always get down there every time. I had told him I had people here and the wedding but he still doesn’t understand it. He says he does but I don’t think so. I called him back and he said he just has mood swings and wants to see us. I wish I could do more but I can only do what I can. We stop a lot of things that we need to get done here to go down there on the days he has off. I just hate he gets sad like that.

Trying to recoup from the wedding. The in laws are back in Lawrenceville.
Luke and Kelsey’s wedding was today. It has been a LONG day. We didn’t get back until 9pm. Have his parents and Tom and Caroline here. I am not sure when they will be leaving.
Spent the day cleaning up around the house and bird crap on windows. I did end up going to the store for some things since I will be having people at the house Sat on… Lane sent me a pic of this spam Misubi or whatever he called it. I think I would pass on that myself but if they like it I love it. Bub is still sick but able to eat today. His face looks all red :(

Went to Target and TJ Max. I didn’t find much of anything. I did find a 3 dollar reversible food server. Target’s clothes are absolutely pathetic- So are TJ Max. I have been very unimpressed by clothes pretty much period these days. The cat tried to kill me yet again. She literally looks like a snake at times. I did manage to snag Andy some Marshmallows but I realized I didn’t have any Hershey’s. He Seberized his with a Twix bar.
Got the little pool out for Zorro. He likes it. He wants to eat it though so I can’t leave it out unsupervised. The cat was trying to eat my hand. It looks like I am choking her.. “I might be”…..Andy decided he wanted to “grill” a hot dog over the fire pit haha.
Hayward has his procedure tomorrow. They are putting him out. I guess the guy that told him he wouldn’t be didn’t know what the heck he was talking about.
Andy had a dentist apt at 11am today. I went into Target while he was in there and found my cookies which I was very surprised about. Got some new info on wedding with timing etc …..oh boy…
We ended up going to Menards later in the day and found a fire pit for the front. Andy has wanted one for a long time. It was on sale. He ended up power washing the front porch, driveway, and sidewalks. He also got the post caps on the back deck. Zorro was talking to us while he was doing it which was funny.
Dad called a few times. He was out of his Metformin so called that in for him. He has to go Wednesday to get a door and other supplies with the guy that is going to be helping.
Started to leave to go down to dad’s today and got a msg that Hayward was at the ER with a blood clot. He has a procedure Wednesday and was able to go home with meds.
The hummers were taunting me. The male kept buzzing next to my head haha. He would sit up in the tree and then torment me hehe.
Got home and Andy said he wasn’t feel well and went to lay down. He is still asleep.
Lori’s hooker birthday today. Andy brought over some goodies… I got some back ahhhhhhh :)….
Went to Martinsville at the Morgan county farmers market. It was “ok” but nothing I would go back to.. I ended up spending money on some baked goods which I got bamboozled on the bread! The two zucchini breads are like BRICKS so 10 bucks for those down the drain. The pies I think are fine. It is some Amish place in Gosport from looking it up. Note to self don’t get bread anywhere unless feel the sides of it.
The cat got out and was making horrible noises at the neighbors cat. I saw her on the camera thankfully. We are listening to the video and they were just making horrible noises at each other.
Dad has called several times. He has been down about a lot of things. I have been trying to give him some pep talks. He seems to be doing better this evening. We are going to go down tomorrow.
Trucked my behind to Avon to Fresh Thyme just to get a couple boxes of waffles that I just realized I have been eating way too many carbs PER waffle with…but oh well… Found some lemon cake cookies that look yummy. Went to grab my dress from the alterations place in Mooresville. It is all good. Caught a woodpecker pecking at a stump in the back.
Put the pool out for Zorro. He likes to bite at it for whatever reason. The two hummers are back. I was sitting out earlier and they were buzzing around. I put some wormies in the feeders and the birds came “flying” in.. HVAC came by at 2pm to check out the system. It is doing fine we just paid for a maintenance plan where he comes in the spring/summer and fall to check it out and the filters. Went to Walmart to get dad a Butterfly bush. I knew if he saw mine he would want one.
