Had a Gyn apt today. The doc annoys me but don’t have to go very often so… supposed to have an ultrasound but not sure if I am going to do it at this point: seems only wanted a 86 dollar apt to provide me results. The weather sucks. Christian is supposed to come with his dudes in the morning to check the roof.
Lane called this evening. He mentioned that Julian is in therapy which I wasn’t aware of. I guess he has a lot of fears and will say with any illness or thing that happened “am I going to die” which is sad. Lane thinks he gets it from him :( He said he has only been a few times. Julian had lab work and there were some indications of possible celiac disease but Lane isn’t sure if he has it quite yet.
Horrible air quality today :(. My pepper plant is growing. Titty was being all beautiful as always. She is still doing pretty good with her new cat box location (knock on wood). There is still the situation in Andy’s closet. It smells even worse now. It smells like the butt end (literally) urine fest. I think getting it cleaned actually made it worse if that is possible. It looks a lot nicer but the smell - oh no… Got Julian’s birthday stuff sent finally.
Oven repair dude came today from a new company. He actually saw that there is an issue finally. I am really glad I kept the oven on because he was able to tap into the back and see that the temp was going up and up as it was on. It was reading 136 degrees off- so much for 5 degrees off from the prior company. He said it wasn’t the temp sensor but the mother board. So, they will either allow for him to bring a new one or deem it as the dud it is and provide a card for a new one. I am going for a card because I am over this effer.
Been busy putting the house back together today. It has taken forever. Trying to get rid of things as I can. Found part of my wedding dress in a tote in my closet. It has a hole in it but whatever it will not be worn again.
Titty has not known what to think about crap being everywhere haha
Had an apt with Stanley Steemer to come this morning. We ended up getting it done today which we were unprepared for obviously. We were told it would be around 1300 dollars via chat weeks ago. We ended up paying $871 doing it today. I wish we had more time to prepare but it worked out ok. I always forget about the storage area. I would like to get that cleaned it is pretty gross but I guess I will be tackling that myself down the line.
My mouth has been hurting today. I am not sure if my bite is off or what. I will have to watch it. I did look at my home insurance and the first page states “asphalt roof updated in 2015” which is not accurate. We have never had anything updated so I will have to look into that.
Went down to dad’s house today. It started hailing and the wind was nuts. There was a ton of hail. I could tell he was concerned. He told me later when I was home he had been worried we would have another tornado. He said his friend Steve had come down and spent the day Saturday. Andy ended up having to go into work even though he is off due to all the outages.
Bub called a few times. He likes for us to watch him play his games or just watch tv.
Ran around a bit but nothing too productive. The 3 stooges were back in full force. I like watching them. Attempted to cook a few things but you know my oven sucks so it is up in flames… Ended up with Red Robin for dinner. Andy is on call so he was late. Hoping he isn’t called out the rest of the evening. Made dad some sandwiches to bring down.
Bub called again this evening and we talked and then watched tv together. I think that is too sweet.
The little effers were out in full force today. They came in 3’s today ahhhh…
Had a dentist apt at 11:30am. After the numbness wore off I am not realizing that the tooth area nearest to my tongue is jagged and cutting into my tongue when I chew sooooooo I guess I will have to call them and see if there is anyway I can smooth it myself or COME BACK… never fails. Errrrr…
Met up with Lori at Goodwill to get a Surprise! Super nice bird feeder that will keep the little effer squirrel out. I will be reimbursing ;). Ahhhhhhhh
The pepper plant is doing pretty good. Seems to have some bloomies….
I did grab a few Crumbl cookies while I was in Greenwood. I haven’t had it in a long time. I got sick of it. I do like the red velvet. I got a “waffle” flavored one and Andy said it had no flavor at all so it went in the trash.
Bub called and we have been off and on the phone with him a couple hours. He has wanted us to sit and watch tv with him and you tube videos haha. I will not complain glad he called and wants to talk more than a few minutes :)
I did find some of the general tso Real good chicken I was looking for. I didn’t realize it was chicken and the sauce was in a pouch. It is still good though but would prefer it to just be on the chicken because not sure how long the one pouch will last in the fridge.
The cat was being all beautiful if anyone can imagine. Allergies have been nasty today but with this weather it just is what it is.
Made some chicken bacon ranch in the crock pot for sandwiches. Andy was a big fan. Chicken can be hit or miss but this was good.
Was supposed to have a pet sitter show up at 5:30pm but that came and went so assuming he forgot or just didn’t want to show so … next…
The birdies are really liking the water feature. :)
I am loving the cardinals. They remind me of little toddlers with attitudes just be bopping around.
Bought a 2 pack of reusable dryer balls. They were only a few bucks. I have never used them so shall see…
Made some drop biscuits with a box of bisquik. My oven sucks so they were not amazing but not too bad. Doctored them up as much as I could.
Dad has called several times today telling me about the skunk and how he wants a “movie camera”. I really really hope he doesn’t end up buying something he can’t figure out or use. Ugh… Andy has been watching the situation with the guy “helping” him with projects.
Andy came through big time and brought home Long’s donuts for my dad. He went to the one on tremont and said it was awful to get in because the homeless wouldn’t leave him alone :(
Grabbed dad some Applebees since he loves the chicken he eats every bite :) He was telling me how nice it was to get the box from Lori ❤️ He had a good day which is all I wanted.
My allergies went nuts and thought I was going to sneeze 100 times. Thankfully I found a Claritin in my purse or it would have been going home - was miserable.
Dads window looks good but they still have to do a few things to it.
Bub called and has been showing me his ten million videos to his friends with him dancing lol.
I literally was up all night last night. 3am came and went - then 5 AM… I have no idea wth that is about. I am assuming hormones. I didn’t have a lot of coffee or anything like that so it was freaking annoying.
Been all over town today. Got dad a few gift cards, corn, peanuts, eclairs so on so forth to bring down tomorrow. I tried the stove out and STILL SUCKS. My brownies YET again burned and there was smoke all over. SOOOO I will be contacting the SO called warranty people. This stove sucks. Made some yummy crepes though but they were obviously on the TOP of the stove errrrr…
The oven dude came today but I do not think the oven is fixed by any means. I have zero expectation. I already did a trial run and it seems to still be doing the same crap. I will try a few things this weekend.
The neighbors titty (I think it is their cat anyway) was out being cute. She is really cute :)
Got a cold brew from Duncan today and had a reward for a free lemon loaf- gave it to Andy.
Ordered Andy some toffee fudge from the “anus” place haha… hopefully it wont suck but what he is getting.
Took Stormie to her Vet apt. It went pretty good but it was an arm and a leg as usual. There is a cool barn across the street from it. They gave her an injection of Solensia and also the rest of her vaccinations. They said they haven’t used it toward a cat with FIC but it has shown good results with inflammation so just giving it a try. It is the same cost almost as Zorro’s apoquel - 95 dollars. So, it is administered once a month. I will give it a few tries and she said if it doesn’t appear to help obviously stop with it.
My freaking bra is falling apart. No wonder the girls have been trying to pop out! Effing Meijer bras suck.
