 Sat out with the dog a lot today.  He is a hoss.  He was giving Andy a spit bath last night. 

Titty was being a hooker as always.  She looks like a snake at times.  Found a  big azz spider in my yellow container.  I didn’t kill it but I did throw it back in the yard. 

The box I sent to bub is just showing leaving Indy at 4:30pm.  They told me it would get there today but don’t see that happening.

Talked to dad he was doing good but in a “talkative” mood.  He is wanting to go back to McCormick’s creek but told him we would when it cools off a bit.  I also want to take him to get some ice cream.  The place he goes in Spencer is closed on Sunday’s though so would have to go to the Elletsville one which is fine.

 Bub texted last night and then called for a few.  He had a babysitter while Lane and Scarlett were at a Giant’s game.  He loves to make this face haha.  

Well titties bowl bit the dust.  She is not happy about it.

Got a new selenite bracelet.  

Found this cleaning paste at DT.  I am assuming it is supposed to be “similar” to the pink stuff.

Finally Menards had my Cherry sours.  I. Have been looking for these for months.

 Uneventful day- I did manage to finally get Bub’s package out the door- 2 trips in. I had to pack it in the priority box the other one was 40 bucks this was only 20 something.

The hummers were out a lot today. Still have to get the water thingie out there. I did manage to make some hummer food.

Monday Aug. 28, 2023

  Found a few things at DT.  I only had one glass candle holder to make the holder on the left.  I saw it on a Tik Tok.  The other two things were in the 3 and 5 dollar section.   

Andy decided to do some more deck turning.  He got the grass mowed.  Need to get the weeds really bad next. 

Found bub a few more things to add to his box.  He can’t have dyes so found these suckers. Found him a few more shirts and a pair of pants for when it gets a little cooler.

 Went down to dad’s today.  It was thankfully cooler out.  I was going to take him for ice cream but he didn’t want any!  Literally always mentioning it and the day I say lets go he wasn’t having it haha…. Will try next time.

 Lane left to go back home this morning.  He was “supposed” to come here to do breakfast since he didn’t do dinner but……. We all know how that goes.  That didn’t happen… oh well.

I went to a few stores but mainly stayed in the general area.  I found these maple rolls but they are not the best. I thought they could be “decent” if warmed but mediocre at best.  Andy will probably eat them ;)

It is Andy’s mom and dad’s Anniversary.  They went to Texas Roadhouse.

Have a box started to send to bub since Lane didn’t want to be bothered with opening his bag….

Found a Highlight magazine at Meijer to throw in there.  It has a lot of “find me” and  mazes that he will like.  They are a little pricey I must say though.

Found this map from McCormick’s creek in the car.  You can see there are only a few areas in yellow open and the rest is closed.  It is good that some of it is still opened though :)

 Well Lane Michael msg and said “If I can’t get out of here we will do breakfast I don’t have to be at the airport until 9am”…. Haha.  I already told him yesterday he would not be back - 

Went around to Walmart and Meijer and found a few things for bub.  The Minecraft is way too hot for now but asked her and she said he would love it for winter so decided to go ahead and get it.  

Received another water fountain.  I am not sure if I even want to get it out of the box when they end up looking like this a few months later but I am sure I will.  I might look and see if there is anything more I can do to keep it up but doubt it.  I might try and put it in another location and only put filtered water but have small hopes errrr..

 Welllllllll I went to TEN million stores to get things for CARAMEL apples yet again and they actually turned out  ExCEPT the apple part was NOT good.  So, I had the opposite problem so I am OVER making caramel apples.  I wil buy them and BE DONE.

Dabbled with the tik tok ghosts Lori sent haha… 

Saw a few pair of shoes I thought “might” be good for dad but I am not sure he would like or wear them.

 Well attempted to make caramel apples with a recipe on Instagram and it was a huge fail.  It was a pain in the arse and sucked.  It did not harden and was runny and basically will end up in trash ….. errr…. 

Made some grilled cheese cheeseburger sliders.  Andy loved them.  They tasted better than look I am guessing.  

Found Andy some Gatorlyte.  It isn’t the IV stuff but what they had at Meijer.  The heat has made him a real bear but it is understandable.  

A hummer came right up to me but of course my pics came out blurry.  I was just happy she wasn’t afraid of me.

 Lane came over early and we went down to see dad.  We ended up going to McDonalds for breakfast and then in to McCormick’s Creek to look around at what was still available to look at.  When we got back Lane fell asleep haha. He went to his other grandparent’s house right after to see Mike’s side of the family.
