Monday/Tues Sept. 25/26

 Went back down to dad’s as he called “on the way there” to see if I would “meet him” lol.  Thankfully Andy was with me because it would have been a mess.  He only had $500 with him and the charge was $750 ish so they told him he could mail a check with the rest.  I sent it out this morning.  He was a little surprised at the price but I have no idea the cost of fish or feed.  If it gives him something to look forward to when he gets down then it is worth the cost.  We have to look out for his financial well being so he can sustain the life he is currently living. He doesn’t have a back up vehicle now but that isn’t a huge deal. As long as he can pay his bills, have a little money to do the things he wants to do, and have longevity through the remainder of  his life…. All we want.

Wanted to take this dog home with me….

Sunday Sept. 24, 2023

 Went down to dad’s.  Andy went into work.  I brought him a salmon meal from O’Charleys.  He ate every bite - except for the mac n cheese.  Their mac n cheese is not the best.  I brought him a Dilly bar, some desserts, and a lemon Nothing Bundt cake.  He was all about the lemon Bundt haha.  He actually ate and liked the sandwiches I brought down.  I made sure to tell him I made them fresh before I left. 

The pond looks really nice.  It is pretty massive.  There were some frogs hopping around in it. He said there is a turtle in there but I didn’t see it.  He will only be spending a few K with the purchase of the truck so he made out better than I was expecting.  He still is pretty savvy which I need to give him more credit for.  We look out for him but he still is pretty smart with his money and thinks about the bottom line.  

This was my favorite part.  I like the back and that they kept a trail around the entire thing.  It is a little scary but nice.  I think once it is completely full it will be a little intimidating but it is definitely pretty.  I am sure it could be a mosquito nightmare haha

He is really good about keeping track of things.  The guy for his age still has it :)

 Went to Avon today to get my Nothing Bundt cakes I ordered with my buy one get one coupon.  I ended up getting dad a lemon one.  He is not a huge fan of cake but still got it.

I ended up finding this sweater”ish” at Marshalls.  It should work well in the Winter.  I wish it had a button in the front but can put one on it if needed.

Andy wanted Luca pizza for dinner.  It was good.  The garlic knots were disappointing though.  Wont get those going forward. 

Scarlett sent a few videos today.  I “attempted” to take some screen shots because can’t add videos on here for whatever reason.  Blurry but get the gist…

 Flipping Citizens Gas and other construction workers just making life FUN… LOVE It.  

Talked to dad several time.  He was very talkative today :).  Lane called at one point so he had to let me go.  I didn’t even tell him to so that was a nice surprise.

Little hummer was saying hi to me.  She kept hovering over my head :)

Went to Kroger and Pet Supplies plus to get a few things and saw smoke coming from somewhere.  I didn’t see it on the way home. 

Grabbed dad a Tractor Supply gift card and a Texas Roadhouse gift card since that is his new thing for his bday.

 Saved a caterpillar or whatever want to call it from the dog stomping it. It was cute but black so suck.

The dog was being a turd. He grabbed a washcloth and was going to eat it but got it away from him.

Wednesday Sept. 20, 2023

 Andy’s parents left for their trip this morning.  They will be back Wednesday evening next week.  

Had a doc apt in the morning.  On the way back I saw a Circus “like” tent in Plainfield.  

Titty was being all beautiful today.  

Started Peaky Blinders and “involved now”….. ahhh…  Andy is catching up.  I watched until Episode 3 so Andy is watching now.

 In Laws up again to go to the airport tomorrow. They got here later than I had anticipated.  I have a doc apt in the morning which I really don’t want to go to but whatever. I haven’t been in a long time but still seems a waste of time.

Got the other lights up.  He got them staggered better than he did the kitchen.  He needs to fix a few in the kitchen because they don’t look staggered enough but hard to tell because they are not all together.

A bug was creeping me out on the camera.  I think it is a praying mantis

 Andy went in to work OT today.  He didn’t get much last week.  His parents will be back tomorrow evening. 

I grabbed 3 burgers today ha.  I gave them to Andy.  He was pleased. I did try Wendy’s cold brew it wasn’t too bad. 

Got my floating candles with wand today.  Andy got a few of them up but I need to get more batteries and some white thumb tacks to put the rest up.  The wand is cool.  They flicker.  We have to cut off the excess wire.
