Apt at Hem. My numbers have went up but not a lot. Went over some other iron options to try. She wants me to get a colonoscopy which I need to anyway I guess. I am going to be on an as needed basis. I am going to have the primary re test in 4 months to see how that levels are doing. She said I could have an EGD done at that time if I wanted but absolutely not unless that is the last option. I don’t want some thing (no pun intended) going down my throat into my stomach and back absolutely not. Also mentioned could test for celiac but I am like why wouldn’t you have just tested for that with the other blood work. Basically still have no clue if it is just me still having a period, malabsorption, a bleed of some sort or what so- there you go. I guess celiac she said causes inflammation from gluten which causes microscopic bleeding but I doubt I have that. I would think I would have known that by now but you know nothing would shock me.
